ROME (Reuters) -World number one Iga Swiatek marched into her third Italian Open final as she beat American third seed Coco Gauff 6-4 6-3 in the first semi-final on Thursday.

The teachers traded rulers, chalk, textbooks and uniforms for the colourful jackets and robes of other professions for the event’s fashion show. The day began with the pupils from Year One to Six creating and colouring Teachers Day cards for their beloved educators, who beamed with gratitude over the beautiful messages from their pupils.The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the teachers’ fashion show, he said.
