KUALA LUMPUR: Former education minister Maszlee Malik today questioned the education ministry about discrepancies in data on repairs to dilapidated schools, saying these show Putrajaya’s lack of seriousness in addressing the issue.

He said the database stated that the ministry had a total of 781 repair projects across the country, although Radzi’s official answer stated 773. “The education ministry needs to explain the differences in data. This is important because it shows negligence and a lack of seriousness at this time about dilapidated schools.
