KOTA KINABALU: Sabah's daily Covid-19 cases continue to show signs of stabilising but there is a concern about more children below 12 being infected with the virus, says Datuk Seri Masidi ManjunHe said the 31 of the 161 new cases in Sabah involved children who were not yet eligible for the vaccinations.

"Adults should always ensure that they take precautions when interacting with their children as they may not realise that they could be carrying the virus," added the state Covid-19 spokesman on Monday . Masidi said the current situation in all districts was showing a stabilisation phase except for some where daily cases fluctuate sharply almost every day.

"Ranau again recorded a high number of cases with 28 cases including six from the Perkasa Hotel cluster," he said, adding that no new cases were recorded in eight districts while the other 14 districts saw less than 10 new cases each.
