Many defy smoking ban in restaurants

Some restaurant owners have received compounds for failing to put up no-smoking signs on the premises, as the the authorities enforce the no-smoking ban in dining outlets today. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 1, 2020.

THERE are still many people who refuse to abide by the smoking ban in restaurants on the first day of full enforcement of ruling the across the country today. In fact, many still claimed that they were still unaware of the ban despite the educational enforcement that had been done over the past 12 months.
