Hilir Perak district police chief Ahmad Adnan Basri said that in the 6.45 pm incident, the 29-year-old victim was having a drink with three other friends when they were approached by a group of eight men in two cars who then went on to assault them.“The victim ran off into some bushes nearby and is believed to have been attacked there,” he said in a statement here today.He said the two friends of the victim, aged 19 and 25, were also injured.
