MERSING: A 47-year-old man was killed in an accident involving two vehicles at KM19 of the Endau-Mersing road here.

Mersing OCPD Supt Abdul Razak Abdullah Sani said police received information about the incident involving a car and a lorry at about 3pm on Thursday .

"A lorry that was in the opposite lane was unable to avoid the car, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles. He added that the driver of the lorry, who is also a 47-year-old local man, sustained minor injuries on his legs. "Upon arrival, we found that the driver of the car was stuck in his vehicle. We were able to take him out of the car with special tools.
