A jealous trader was nabbed today for allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend’s new lover in the stomach in an incident at an entertainment centre in Lorong Abu Sitti, here, early this morning.
Northeast district police chief ACP Che Zamani Che Awang said the suspect had walked into the entertainment outlet at 1.15am today, and stabbed the 40-year-old victim and the 46-year-old owner who had stepped in between the duo. She also added that they used to be business partners at an eatery and used to stay in the same house.
