PASIR GUDANG: A man died on the spot after his 4WD hit a stalled lorry at Taman Pasir Putih near here on Tuesday (Aug 30).

The Johor Fire and Rescue Department operation centre said it received an emergency call on the incident at 4.01am.

“Eight firemen from the station were deployed to the scene at Jalan Senangin 6,’’ said Pasir Gudang fire station chief Ibrahim Omar in a statement.Ibrahim said the victim was pronounced dead by the Health paramedic team who was at the scene, adding that the body was handed over to police for further action.

He said one Fire Rapid Tender vehicle and an Emergency Medical Response Services vehicle from the station were used in the operation.
