Malaysia to resume maritime boundary negotiations with Singapore

Deputy Foreign Minister Marzuki Yahya says Malaysia will host the latest round of talks with Singapore over disputed islands between the two nations. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, July 2, 2019.

MALAYSIA and Singapore will resume negotiations on the maritime boundary for Pulau Batu Puteh , Batuan Tengah and Tubir Selatan , Parliament was told today. Deputy Foreign Minister Marzuki Yahya said Malaysia would host the eighth meeting of the Malaysia-Singapore Joint Technical Committee , which is expected to take place in October.
