Malaysia to keep 4.8% GDP forecast for 2020

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng says Malaysia is on track to achieve GDP growth target. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Kamal Ariffin, December 12, 2019.

MALAYSIA will maintain its 4.8% gross domestic product growth projection for 2020 despite World Bank’s revised forecast to 4.5%, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said. “We still feel we should achieve our target of 4.7% for 2019 but let us wait for the numbers when they come out next year,” he said in Putrajaya today.
