PUTRAJAYA: Kerajaan Malaysia hari ini menyumbang sejumlah AS$124,179 untuk pelbagai projek pembangunan di Palestin melibatkan tiga pihak.
“Pemberian ini membuktikan komitmen berterusan Malaysia terhadap perjuangan rakyat Palestin membina semula negara mereka yang musnah,” katanya dalam sidang akhbar selepas menghadiri majlis berbuka puasa bersama warga kementerian tersebut dan Kor Diplomatik di sini, hari ini. Sejak ditubuhkan lebih dua dekad lalu, tabung khas tersebut sudah pun menyalurkan lebih RM20 juta untuk mengisi pelbagai projek kemajuan dan inisiatif di negara berkenaan.
“Ini sebenarnya merupakan sumbangan tahunan kerajaan Malaysia kepada pihak tersebut sejak 2020 kerana Jordan ialah pihak diberi tugas mentadbir masjid itu,” kata Zambry.
