MALAYSIAN tycoon Tan Sri Vincent Tan is considering taking Kuala Lumpur-listed Berjaya Food Bhd. private, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

In an effort to promote the country’s rich cultural history, and in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri , Malaysia Airport s has collaborated with Kraf-tangan Malaysia to highlight the vibrant and classic beauty of local textiles via a campaign.

“Malaysia Airports is proud to be carrying and showcasing Malaysia’s rich heritage of craftsmanship ... we are focused on ensuring more joyful experiences for our visitors,” Hani Ezra Hussin, senior general manager, Commercial Services for Malaysia Airports says in a statement. Throughout the campaign, travellers and shoppers at various airports in Malaysia can also enjoy special promotions and exclusive offers. For example, at the international airports in Penang, Langkawi , Kuching and Kota Kinabalu , shoppers will receive a RM20 voucher with every RM500 spent. This promotion ends on April 7.

Additionally, guests can check out the Seloka Bazaar Raya promotions at both the KLIA terminals. The bazaar features a variety of sellers offering locally made clothing, artwork, and crafts inspired by textiles.
