Malaysia refuses to allow Israelis at world squash event

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 25 — Muslim-majority Malaysia is refusing to grant visas for Israeli players to participate in a major squash tournament next month, the sport’s governing body says, sparking anger in the Jewish state.

But the World Squash Federation said it had “been made aware that, at present, the Malaysian authorities have not accepted yet to provide visas for the Israel squash team”. The Israel Squash Association said it plans to turn to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland if the WSF can’t resolve the issue.

The whole world knows that Malaysia is anti Israel, then why allow it to conduct world squash event? Malaysia is isolating itself from the international arena, let it be !!!

WELL DONE

Najib walking the streets like a free man after conviction. ✅ Israeli athletes play sport. ⛔ F$ing stupid logic.

SauravGhosal Congrates for winning the cup for India. Let the world be busy with 'TO BE OR NOT TO BE'

World do not belong to us. ITS SPORTS

Stupidity at it's best that's what happens if u mix sports and politics

Israel practising apartheid against Palestinians so this is fair to them. IsraelKoyak

When politics blind the spirit of sportsmanship and competitions. One day it will be barring people from competing based on religion and race.

🙈

When politics is mixed with sports ....very sad. That was how our best football team ever never got to play in the Olympics ....the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

Earning trust and gaining friendship is how we can help others see our point of view. Sport is a good way to gain friendship and influence them to see the hardship they brought onto others. Win them over not with hatred but with kindness and respect.

Childish !

Dasar Luar Negara harus dikaji semula.. Perubahan mengikut peredaran masa..

This is necessary. Not welcomed but necessary

Israel is illegal state and it's not recognized. That's why we don't allow them to participate because they can't. If we allow them to participate, we also must allow terrorists, psychopaths, murderers to participate because they are in the same group of people.

Religion shouldn’t interfere with sport
