: Malaysia is ready to share information about the initiatives taken by the Ministry of Communications and Digital to counter and curb the spread of fake news and inaccurate information at the 16th Conference of Asean Ministers Responsible for Information and Related Meetings, which begins tomorrow.said KKD has taken these initiatives through various agencies under its purview, including the Sebenarnya.

The minister also viewed the AMRI conference as an opportunity for Malaysia to gain a deeper understanding of these issues and to learn from the experiences of other countries in the region in addressing the challenge of fake news. “Each country has its own approach. I believe that this is a platform to also discuss issues relating to social media,” he said.
