Beliau berkata, data daripada beberapa ujian klinikal vaksin Covid-19 yang berada pada fasa ke-3, dijangka dianalisa hujung tahun ini. “Kita juga sedang berbincang terus dengan syarikat farmaseutikal antarabangsa lain bagi pembekalan terus tanpa melalui pelan peruntukan vaksin Covid-19 Vaccine Global Access .
Beliau berkata, rundingan dengan pihak bagi penyertaan Malaysia dalam kemudahan tersebut bagi mendapatkan vaksin Covid-19 yang diperlukan, masih berlangsung.
