Malaysia sendiri berdepan dengan lambakan orang tidak bernegara dan jika tidak ditangani akan memberi impak negatif kepada negara. FMTNews

Malaysia menerima sejumlah besar orang tidak bernegara dari rantau Asia terutamanya dari Myanmar dan jumlahnya semakin bertambah.

Beliau berkata Malaysia sendiri berdepan dengan lambakan orang tidak bernegara dari rantau Asia sejak sekian lama dan jika tidak ditangani, ia memberi impak negatif bukan sahaja kepada negara terbabit bahkan seluruh rantau. “Kesannya, kita bukan sahaja terpaksa menanggung beban kewangan sebagai tuan rumah, malahan perlu menangani pelbagai risiko keselamatan dan masalah sosial,” katanya.

Muhyiddin berkata kerajaan Malaysia tetap komited untuk memperkukuhkan kerjasama dengan Suruhanjaya Tinggi PBB Mengenai Pelarian dalam usaha menangani masalah ini.
