Perdana Menteri, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, berkata hubungan dua hala Malaysia dan China kini berada pada tahap sangat tinggi sejak hubungan diplomatik kedua-dua negara terjalin pada 1974.
"Saya nyatakan bahawa China adalah rakan dagang Malaysia yang terbesar selama 11 tahun berturut-turut, dengan nilai dagangan tahun lalu merekodkan sebanyak RM315.19 billion. "Saya nyatakan bahawa Malaysia sentiasa mengalu-alukan lebih banyak syarikat dari China menjadikan negara ini sebagai destinasi pilihan untuk melabur terutamanya di sektor industri berteknologi tinggi," katanya melalui akaun Facebook , pagi ini.
Beliau berkata, Bai Tian turut menzahirkan penghargaan kepada Kerajaan Malaysia yang sentiasa memberi sokongan dalam pelbagai aspek kepada negara itu, khususnya ketika pandemik Covid-19 melanda Wuhan awal tahun ini.
