Malaysia extends RM1 million aid to Beirut

PM Muhyiddin Yassin has conveyed Malaysia’s sincere condolences to bereaved families who have lost their loved ones, and prays for the full and speedy recovery of those injured in the Beirut blast. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, August 8, 2020.

PUTRAJAYA has decided to contribute RM1 million as humanitarian relief assistance through the Lebanese Red Cross to help the country following the tragic explosion in Beirut last Tuesday. Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said the contribution was made in the spirit of close friendship between Malaysia and Lebanon.
