Health volunteers involved in the COVID-19 vaccination process nationwide will receive an increase in their daily allowance starting this month, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said today.
“The government has agreed to increase the consolation payment to health volunteers from RM50 a day to RM100 a day, for those who work more than 12 hours a day starting this month. Muhyiddin, who is also Pagoh MP and Gambir assemblyman, explained that he had previously instructed the Finance Ministry to review the allowances for volunteers.
