State govt hopes this will motivate all Malacca-born athletes to achieve excellence on the international stage.

The Malacca government today rewarded national badminton player Aaron Chia with RM50,000 for his bronze medal feat with Soh Wooi Yik at the Tokyo Olympics. – EPA pic, August 18, 2021.

NATIONAL badminton men’s doubles player, Aaron Chia’s bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics was rewarded with a RM50,000 contribution by the Malacca government today. State youth development and sports committee chairman Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen hopes this will motivate of all Malacca-born athletes to achieve excellence on the international stage.
