“It has really affected my income in general because we can’t do makeup, and most of my income is from this, ” says Ummi, who has been in the business for eight years. “Since tutorials can’t be held in person I hold private Zoom classes and I collaborate with brands over Instagram Live if they want to promote certain products. I talk about the products and how to apply them, ” says Ummi.
“Usually face-to-face sessions take up around three to four hours, but holding them online and from my home it’s down to around one hour, ” says Ummi.
