As Malaysia moves towards the next general election – said to be coming soon, before the end of 2022 – I have been doing a little bit of research about the politics surrounding planetary health here in Malaysia and around this interconnected world we call home. The 12th Malaysia Plan, which charts out our development priorities over the next five years , provides hope that the country is addressing some of the key planetary health challenges we face.
