PUTRAJAYA: Mahkamah Rayuan hari ini memutuskan peguam kanan Gopal Sri Ram boleh terus mengetuai pasukan pendakwaan dalam kes 1MDB melibatkan Najib Razak.
Hakim Zabariah Mohd Yusof, dalam mempengerusikan panel hakim, memutuskan rayuan bekas perdana menteri terhadap keputusan Mahkamah Tinggi mengetepikan permohonannya menggugurkan Sri Ram sebagai tiada merit.“Bagaimanapun, Sri Ram dalam afidavitnya menafikan dia terlibat dalam siasatan itu dan dia dilantik oleh peguam negara untuk mengetuai pendakwaan 1MDB pada 31 Ogos 2018,” katanya dalam menyampaikan keputusan sebulat suara mahkamah.
