In a joint statement, all three deputy commissioners – Datuk Seri Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya , Datuk Norazlan Mohd Razali and Datuk Junipah Wandi – said they stood by Azam.
“We are of the view that the allegations and attacks are motivated by the politics of revenge to tarnish the image and credibility of the MACC. “We urge all parties to stop and let the legal process take its course in a fair, just and transparent manner. “The MACC remains united in defending the institution of the chief commissioner and for the sake of the continuation of the prevention of corruption in the country,” they said in a statement.
