MACC arrests 6 over false claims of almost RM900,000

Selangor MACC says the six suspects will be produced at a magistrate’s court in Shah Alam tomorrow morning for a remand application. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, September 12, 2022.

According to a source, the suspects, aged between 30 and 59, were arrested at the Selangor MACC office at about 5pm when they turned up to give their statements. “The first project, on works to improve drainage, involved more than RM250,000 while the flood mitigation project was valued at more than RM600,000,” said the source.
