THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission yesterday detained three Penang legal officers on suspicion of asking for RM500,000 in bribes from the public. Kedah MACC director Shaharom Nizam Abd Manap said the first suspect, aged 42, was nabbed at a Penang hotel at 12.15pm, while the other two, aged 29 and 52, were arrested at the Kedah MACC office at 10.15pm and 10.38pm, respectively.
