KUANTAN: Seorang penyelia dan peniaga mengalami kerugian keseluruhan berjumlah RM433,000 selepas terpedaya dengan helah sindiket Macau Scam.
Menurutnya, dalam kes pertama melibatkan penyelia berusia 39 tahun yang kononnya menerima panggilan antarabangsa daripada wakil syarikat kurier sekitar tahun 2020 memaklumkan terdapat satu bungkusan atas namanya mengandungi kad pengenalan dan satu bungkusan lain dipercayai dadah. Mohd. Wazir berkata, mangsa mengadakan perbincangan dan bersetuju dengan syarat suspek kerana bimbang dirinya akan ditahan serta didakwa.
Sementara itu, bagi kes kedua, Mohd. Wazir berkata, mangsa yang merupakan peniaga menerima panggilan daripada dua individu yang menyamar sebagai pegawai LHDN dan juga polis.
