PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Basketball Association president Datuk Lua Choon Hann has voluntarily taken indefinite leave while authorities investigate an incident where the incorrect national flag was displayed.
"Lua felt as president, he is ultimately responsible for the organisation and procedures of the association. "We are cooperating fully with the relevant authorities. We repeat our stance that the incident was an unintentional oversight and have taken steps to improve the procedures and upskill our personnel to avoid any unwanted incidents in the future," Maba said.
