Most not ready to go out without one, even though it is no longer required

PETALING JAYA: Malaysians living in countries that have removed their mask mandate are still playing it safe.

“It is because I still don’t feel confident enough to go without it. I will rather be safe than sorry. For example, she said, service workers at restaurants and grocery stores still use masks, although their customers are not required to wear them. London-based forensic accountant Adrian Chan said hardly anyone wears a mask any more, except for some users of public transport, since the mask mandate was lifted there on Jan 27.

mask should just be optional now in Malaysia..even indoors..even in schools..let’s just move on

“When I am with family and friends at home, I don’t wear a mask because I know they all have been fully vaccinated” - so everyone outside hasn’t? This makes no sense. Ppl are too stupid to even think logically anymore - a mask protects yourself, not others. Same as vaccine.

“I still worry about my son and daughter, who are pre-teens. It’s better to mask up,” - she said based on zero evidence of her children being at risk of covid now or ever. Protect your children by educating yourselves
