A recent online post by a Malaysian man about how he was allegedly overcharged by a local restaurant seems to resonate with netizens.

RM71 for a plate of Colek and 2 glasses of Teh O Ais

@suns8t didn’t reveal the exact location or name of the restaurant but did comment in the replies that the eatery is located at Kompleks Teruntum in Kuantan, Pahang.In the replies to the X post, many people shared the same reaction as @suns8t about the RM71 price for the plate of Colek and 2 drinks, iterating that it was rather excessive.

Meanwhile, another commenter did one better by sharing a photo of 3 plates of Colek with drinks he bought for a total of RM78 in Kuala Lumpur, which included prawns, squids, sausages, fried beef lungs, cekodok and a whole separate fruit Colek.
