Luas detects water discolouration, but no plants shut down

The Selangor Water Management Authority confirms receiving a report on water discolouration in Sg Gong, but adds that no water treatment plants was shut down or affected by it. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, September 19, 2020.

THE Selangor Water Management Authority has confirmed receiving a report on the discolouration of water in Sg Gong, Rawang at about 12.11pm today. Luas in a statement tonight said, however, none of the water treatment plants in the state was shut down or affected by the incident.
