Ketua Penolong Pengarah Bahagian Anti Pengganas Cawangan Khas Bukit Aman, Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay berkata, sesiapa sahaja tidak kira daripada parti mana jika terbabit dengan kumpulan pengganas ini berada dalam radar pihak polis.
“Mereka ini sedia maklum LTTE sudah diharamkan jadi jika ada sebarang aktiviti selepas ini jangan terbabit dalam program itu. Mengulas mengenai kenyataan Setiausaha Agung DAP, Lim Guan Eng mengenai tiada lagi pemimpin DAP akan ditahan, Ayob berkata, beliau tidak pernah memberikan kenyataan untuk tidak membuat sebarang tangkapan terhadap anggota parti DAP.
“Mungkin ada pihak lain... saya tidak pasti. Kenapa kita hendak hentikan siasatan sebaliknya kita akan terus menyiasat jika ada bukti kukuh akan tahan,” katanya.
