PETALING JAYA: The last severely injured victim of the LRT train mishap last month has now been discharged from hospital, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

PETALING JAYA: The last severely injured victim of the LRT train mishap last month has now been discharged from hospital, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong .

“She is the last patient whom Hospital Kuala Lumpur allowed to return home, and she will continue her rehabilitation, check-ups and follow-ups that have been arranged by the medical specialists in the hospital,” he said. He said that last Thursday, a 52-year-old man, who was also severely injured in the incident, was allowed to return home and is also receiving rehabilitative treatment.

Dr Wee added that he had also spoken to the family members of the 26-year-old woman, who is currently recuperating in her home in Parit Buntar, Perak.
