MELAKA: There’s been an increase in slithering home invasions by pythons and monitor lizards following flash floods in the city on Wednesday, says state Health and Anti-Drug Committee chairman Low Chee Leong .Low said the Civil Defence Force captured a four-metre-long python at Taman Merdeka, while residents shooed away other snakes here in the early morning.The floods following a downpour that lasted about three hours have affected about 10 housing estates here.
The areas affected were Kampung Enam, Taman Melaka Baru Fasa 2, Taman Limbongan, Taman Merdeka, Taman Malim, Taman Bachang, Taman Lorong Pandan, Taman Jati, Taman Rumpun Bahagia and Pulau Kelapa.
