KUANTAN (Bernama): A lorry driver was burnt to death when the vehicle burst into flames upon colliding with a trailer at Km 18 of Jalan Lipis-Merapoh-Gua Musang, near Selendang in Lipis on Sunday (May 19).

Lipis Police chief Supt Azli Mohd Noor said the deceased's identity and sex could not be ascertained, as the body was charred beyond recognition in the 3.30 pm crash.

"The incident is believed to have occurred when the lorry skidded and veered into the opposite direction and collided with the trailer, which was travelling from Lipis to Gua Musang.He said the body was sent to the Kuala Lipis Hospital. - Bernama
