KUALA LUMPUR: The International Paralympic Committee yesterday awarded London the right to host the rearranged 2019 world para swimming championships in September.
“We are delighted to announce London as the host city of the World Para Swimming Championships,” IPC president Andrew Parsons said in a statement. The London event, which is also a key qualifier for the Tokyo Paralympic Games in 2020, marks the second time the biennial event has been staged in Britain following the 2015 edition in Glasgow.
