Merchandise is the fastest way one can build and grow their brand and surely it's fun when you have creative control to design your own brand but that does not seem to apply to this one person. Penang based dessert entrepreneur, Siti Nur Khalieda Yusra bt Mohd Jais or better known as Kieda Crepe, recently launched her new line of merchandise which garnered immense attention from netizens.
Upon release and promoting it on TikTok live, a netizen on Twitter pointed out how similar it is to a popular Kpop boy group’s logo. “Naurrrr , how dare you” the tweet read, followed by a picture of NCT Dream’s logo during their Hello Future promotions next to Kieda Crepe’s shirt design. The tweet has gained over 700k views and netizens are heavily discussing this matter.
Previously, the businesswoman's announcement to launch her merchandise shocked people as most of them were confused as to why she decided to pursue such a decision as a local dessert company. On top of that, netizens were flabbergasted when the 27-year-old used her business name and not a different brand name, leading to most netizens agreeing to the fact that the merchandise looks awkward. As for now, there are no official statements made by the entrepreneur herself.
