If you’re an expecting parent, you’ve probably started shopping for all the necessary items for your young one. However, for one mother, the excitement of receiving her item turned into anger after the store she shopped from started acting up.

Afifah, also known as Fifa, said that she found the store while shopping online for baby items and believed them to be legit because it had a physical outlet in Subang Jaya.Fifa then contacted the store via Instagram to make a purchase, saying they replied rather quickly at the beginning.

Shockingly, despite ignoring customers’ enquiries, Baby Dots posted about a closing down sale, which Fifa believes is a tactic to cheat more people. In hopes of getting her money back, the influencer lodged a report with the Tribunal for Consumer Claims and Atome, the financing app she used for her purchase. She also revealed that she left a review on Google, but the store had hidden it and added fake ones to increase their ratings.

Many netizens have responded to the thread, mostly showing support for Fifa and other customers. Some also shared their experience with the store, acknowledging that the store had been problematic for a while. However, one mother said she had no issues when she shopped at the store last year but added that she had shopped at the physical store before they closed down.
