has unveiled a new 21.3-inch IPS monitor that comes with a maximum brightness of 1,100 nits and a peculiar aspect ratio of 4:5. The LG 21HQ613D monitor is specifically designed for medical applications like mammography. It has a resolution of 2048 x 2560 pixels which highlights its aspect ratio of 4:5.The new LG 21HQ613D IPS monitor has gotten the United States Food and Drug Administration approval for use as a medical device.
The new LG monitor is capable of dimming certain parts of the picture while bringing other parts into full focus. It has a color space coverage of 100% and 72% of NTSC. The NTSC and color space coverage capabilities of the monitor are the same as its predecessor, the 21HQ513D. The monitor has a versatile stand that supports tilt, swivel, height, and pivot adjustments. There are five customizable keys to help the user quickly adjust the important settings.
The LG 21HQ613D monitor weighs 5.45kg without its stand and has dimensions of 364.5 x 474.4 x 78mm. LG has not released the price for the model yet but it is expected to be more expensive than the 21HQ513D model which retails at up to $5,000. The model will be available in the US and a sprinkling of some European markets.LG launches 44.
