Let Malaysians taking online classes stay, US urged

PUTRAJAYA is concerned about the fate of more than 6,000 Malaysians studying in the US, following a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement announcement that students whose classes move online cannot stay in the country. Foreign Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said the Malaysian embassy in Washington released an advisory on Tuesday, urging Malaysian students to reach out directly to their universities to determine the status of their classes in the fall.
