Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata, Selangor pula berada pada kedudukan kedua iaitu 208 wabak bersamaan 11.9 peratus dan Sarawak, 206 wabak bersamaan 11.8 peratus.
Katanya, ia diikuti Kuala Lumpur dan Putrajaya 9,540 kes , Perak 8,032 kes , Kelantan 5,782 kes dan Johor 5,234 kes sementara negeri-negeri lain pelaporan kes HFMD sekitar atau kurang daripada 4,600 kes. “Majoriti lokasi penularan wabak berlaku di taska, tabika, tadika dan pra-sekolah iaitu 1,059 wabak diikuti oleh rumah persendirian dengan 605 wabak dan juga pusat jagaan kanak-kanak sebanyak 56 wabak ,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.
