PETALING JAYA: The Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation has urged its members to help in search and rescue efforts for missing Irish girl Nora Anne Quoirin, says Tan Sri Lee Lam ThyeThe MCPF senior vice-chairman also called on the public to help and give their cooperation to the authorities to ensure the success of the SAR effort.
"MCPF is convinced that all the relevant authorities are doing their very best to help find Nora Anne who went missing last Sunday ,"he said in a statement on Saturday . Earlier Saturday, Nora Anne's family thanked SAR personnel for their dedication in the search for her despite the coming Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration on Sunday .
Nora Anne disappeared from the room of the Dusun Resort in Nilai where she and her family were holidaying.However, she was not found in the room she shared with her siblings the following morning.The girl, who is of French-Irish parentage, has learning difficulties. The SAR operations, which enters its seventh day today, has since involved the police, a 170-strong SAR team comprising personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department, Civil Defence Department and Forestry Department.
