@NewsBFM reports that Lee’s intention to step away from the sport comes after Malaysia’s loss to China in the men’s competition final at the Asia Team Championships last Sunday. Lee Chong Wei also stressed that Malaysia would risk falling behind, with badminton no longer being among the country’s top sports.
