PETALING JAYA: Ketua pengarah kesihatan Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah mendedahkan 4,756 pekerja kesihatan dijangkiti Covid-19 dalam melaksanakan tugas mereka.Selain pekerja kesihatan, pekerja barisan hadapan lain seperti polis juga dijangkiti dengan 936 kes setakat ini, melibatkan 1,355 yang dikuarantin. “Ini menunjukkan risiko tinggi dalam kalangan pekerja barisan hadapan,” katanya dalam satu dialog petang ini.
Jumlah jangkitan dalam kalangan pekerja barisan hadapan, katanya, antara enam indikator untuk menilai pandemik. Lima lagi indikator adalah jumlah jangkitan baharu; kadar jangkitan; kematian; penggunaan katil; dan ujian harian dilaksanakan.
