MAH berkata dari saiz sampel 56,299 pekerja di seluruh negara termasuk Sabah dan Sarawak, 2,041 sudah dibuang kerja.Industri itu juga menjangka kerugian RM560,72 juta sepanjang perintah larangan pergerakan yang bermula 18 Mac lalu dan kini dilanjutkan sehingga 14 April, lapor The Star. Modal persekutuan juga menyaksikan jumlah pembatalan terbesar dari 22 Januari hingga 20 Mac pada 61,859 menyebabkan kerugian sebanyak RM24.91 juta.

Hotel dan resort di Sabah yang selalunya dipenuhi pelancong China menyaksikan 2,145 pekerjanya turut terjejas di mana 177 diberhentikan, 1,075 terpaksa mengambil cuti tanpa gaji dan 893 dipotong gaji.

Everyone is affected, especially the self employed, daily earners and the low income group.
