KUCHING: Selepas empat jam disoal siasat oleh Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia , Voon Lee Shan tampil mempersoalkan motif di sebalik ‘penahanannya’ ketika kempen Pilihan Raya Negeri Sarawak masih berlangsung.
Lee Shan memberitahu, SPRM menyiasat beliau di bawah Seksyen 16 A Akta SPRM 2009 iaitu kesalahan menerima suapan dengan memberikan, menjanjikan atau menawarkan kepada mana-mana orang sama ada bagi faedah orang itu atau faedah orang lain. “Kalau jadi kerajaan kan mesti bantu rakyat, adakah ini salah? Kerajaan sekarang pun bantu rakyat dengan wang melalui subsidi. Apa yang salahnya kalau kita bentuk kerajaan dan bantu rakyat?” Soalnya.
