Laundrettes using using gas piping systems must obtain licence, Energy Commission says

LAUNDRETTE operators in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah using gas piping systems, especially liquefied petroleum gas for dryers and water heaters at their premises need to obtain approval and a valid licence from the Energy Commission .

EC said in a statement today it was to ensure that the systems’ design and installations comply with the EC’s standards for safety. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription. Sign-up now and enjoy one week free access!
