SISTEM pengambilan dan pelantikan kakitangan perkhidmatan awam Sarawak dilaksanakan berdasarkan merit, kata Timbalan Premier Sarawak Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.
“Selain itu, tadbir urus Perkhidmatan Awam Sarawak dalam sistem pemilihan, pembangunan dan kenaikan pangkat dilaksanakan dengan baik dan teratur. Awang Tengah berkata buat masa ini, perkhidmatan awam Sarawak dianggotai pegawai dari semua kaum dan bangsa termasuk etnik minoriti seperti Kajang, Mierek, Saban dan Tagal.
Pada 24 November lepas, Adun Dudong Tiong King Sing dilaporkan berkata sistem pengambilan kakitangan awam Sarawak mestilah bebas daripada unsur perkauman bagi memastikan pencari kerja dilayan secara adil.
