PUTRAJAYA: The Langkawi Domestic Travel Bubble pilot project is considered a success, according to a survey conducted by Tourism Malaysia involving 1,005 respondents.

Tourism Malaysia, in a statement Tuesday , said a majority of the respondents were satisfied with their trips and had a high level of confidence to travel following the enforcement of standard operating procedures to curb the Covid-19 pandemic.

The survey by Tourism Malaysia’s Strategic Planning Division was conducted in Langkawi from Sept 30 until Oct 6 this year in conjunction with the reopening of the resort island to domestic tourists from Sept 16.
