Its minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said Laksana was formed on March 16 to monitor the implementation of the Economic Stimulus Package 2020 rolled out by the government to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 towards the economy of the country.
“This include payment of RM200 each for 3.8 million Bantuan Sara Hidup recipients originally scheduled in May that was brought forward and paid on Mar 16,” he said in a statement today. Earlier today, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had said that he would be unveiling a more ‘comprehensive’ economic stimulus package and assistance for the people on Mar 30.
